Version 0.1.6.0 (Released on 23.04.2020)

Summary

The update 0.1.6.0 is mainly targeted towards fixing existing errors and to improve usability on various screen sizes. It is the last update for bugfixes before the big update with SQLite as database structure and general possibility of SQL-connections.

New/Improved Features

  • The software Knowrisk can now be better used on screens with smaller dimensions.

Resolved Bugs

  • A bug inside the matrix calculation during creation and displaying, led to an error and sometimes crashed the program. (solved)

Version 0.1.5.0 (Released on 23.02.2020)

Summary

For this release some major changes have been made for the analysis process. FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) can now be used for new analysis and custom additional comments can be set globally for every analysis. Furthermore some color features are added into the hazard assessment and more features to increase the simplicity of the analysis process.

Also all online content can now be opened by the internal Chromium-Browser (so no additional Browser is required). Password can now be reset easily. 

New/Improved Features

  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) can be used inside the analysis process (if set in the workenvironment)
  • Custom additional comments can now be used globally (if required) for all analysis in the same workenvironment
  • Color features during the assessment of the hazard make differentiation of different levels more easy
  • The ChangeTracker is now logging a lot more information (CCP/oPRP/PRP Changes, Comment Changes, Activity Changes, Document Changes, etc.)
  • The path information of the database and backups is now easily accessible in the settings
  • Custom backups and automatic backups can now be managed much more easier inside the settings
  • Message window for new information for kNOw RISK (Updates, News, Additional Information, etc.)

Resolved Bugs

  • Overlay of loading displays has sometimes hidden some information on startup (solved)
  • If only drafts were visible in the hazard overview there was a crash in some cases (solved)
  • If textbuilding blocks were set and rewritten in a new analysis there was a chrash in some cases (solved)

Version 0.1.4.4 (Released on 25.01.2020)

Summary

New comments can now be added individually to the analysis and the number-attribute of CCPs and oPRPs can be modified freely. Also issues with the initial database and matrix modification are resolved. Furthermore the error handling and reporting is improved.

New/Improved Features

  • Unlimited additional comments within the analysis are possible, which can be defined individually by the user
  • The according number of an CCP or oPRP was fixed until now. With the new version this attribute can be modified freely, therefore company processes can be better mapped with kNOw RISK
  • Unexpected errors can be sent easily with button-click so future issues can be resolved simpler and faster
  • Version- and Support-Information is moved into settings area (General Settings)

Resolved Bugs

  • Modification of number-values within the initial default matrix was leading to an error in some cases (solved)
  • The creation of a new database did not trigger the initial team- and workenvironment-konfiguration (solved)
  • Decisiontree selection in navigation window sometimes triggered an error (solved)
  • Specific names of the significance produced an error in some cases (solved)
